Background:
Egged, Israel's largest public transport company has been transporting the country’s citizens and soldiers from various cities to the North for decades.
The Challenge:
Changing the 50 year-old transportation system
After years of providing a convoluted form of bus service across the country, Egged bus lines decided to organize and optimize the system. Egged and the Ministry of Transport planned a new bus system between the central cities, Jerusalem and Be'er Sheva, to the north of the country, increasing its direct bus lines with Afula becoming a transportation center that centralizes many of the lines in the region.
Our Solution:
Public relations and advertising from travel centers
In order to meet the diverse information needs and provide updates on service changes in a large geographical area, a unique, informative graphic language was designed that included maps, brochures, labels, signage systems for bus stations and a complete array of marketing products including newspaper ads, internet campaigns and a landing page.
Ikan Maas handled the creative campaign. We designed the information materials, sales promotion materials, and maps. We also programmed the landing page, animated the banner ads and prepared the advertising campaign in all media channels.
