Background
The JTMT promotes the public and private transport systems of the city, optimizing and adjusting them to fit the changing needs of the city and its residents. As part of the changes, a number of unique modes of transport were launched, including the East Jerusalem Bus Lines.
The Challenge
Great change, but where’s our driver?
For years, commuters from East Jerusalem have been getting around by using unofficial modes of public transport. The JTMT process included the branding of a brand new public transport service that completely identifies with the Arab population and consists of new and advanced vehicles, a fixed rate fee schedule and other unique features.
Our Solution
A brand that is easy to identify with
The real change can be seen in reality, with the new vehicles and the accurate schedule. The new branding included designing and “dressing” the vehicles, design of promotional materials, ads, signs and timetables. All of these contributed to a smooth adjustment to the new system.
