Background
The JTMT promotes the public and private transport systems of the city, optimizing and adjusting them to fit the changing needs of the city and its residents. As part of this initiative, several express service lines have been launched throughout the city, which are unique to Israel’s public transport system and would change Jerusalem’s transportation map.

The Challenge 
They’re changing the bus line again???

A regular public transportation commuter is accustomed to a routine route and a consistent bus line over a long period of his life. How can we soften the blow when bus lines have to change? And how do we explain that an express line is truly express?

For us, change is an improvement, and no, it’s not just a meaningless motto, but a concept that accompanies us in the design and planning process of the informational materials we put out. The method developed to display the map, has become a household name in Israel and has caused us to face the informational challenges of the largest transport sector over the past decade. Therefore, we made sure to provide station maps and route maps that are illustrated and easy to understand as well as a fully designed line of brochures.

The express lines were independently branded. The busses were designed and “dressed” by us and thus received an express look that really works.
