Background:
The Yakir Award is an appreciation award given to Jerusalem elected veterans in recognition of their commitment and volunteerism to the city and its residents. The award has been presented since 1967 in a notable ceremony that takes place on or around Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day).
The Challenge:
There are many ceremonies that take place in Jerusalem throughout the year. The idea of giving a certificate of appreciation to the residents who are prominent in their contributions to the city, demands special attention – a kind of recognition that sets this ceremony apart from other similar events.
The Solution:
In order to give the function the respect it deserves, we developed a graphic language that incorporates the gold and silver city colors. The graphic language is integrated into a number of products, including the Certificate of Honor, lapel pins and various other items.
